Whew!!! Wish I had.....
Developing emotional intelligence sometimes requires trial-and-error learning. Write about a time when you or someone you observed did NOT use emotional intelligence and what you learned from the experience. Please do not use the name of anyone in school. Make sure that you:
1. Describe the situation, and say how you (or the person you observed) handled it. (If it was
you, say how you felt about it.)
2. Say how you (or the person you observed) might have used emotional intelligence to
improve the situation.
3. Say what you learned from the experience.

I once told some kid on the bus that a bad thing would happen if he didn't give my friend a card he owed him. Now a days, I would have told him to get my friend the card as soon as he could. I learned not to interfere with an argument that you have no point in finishing.
ReplyDeleteOnce I was waiting for my bus when my friend found this really old coin and I wanted it but he said that he found and it was his we fought about it and made excuses of why each of us was responsible for finding the quarter. I should have thought about it more and decided that if I had used emotional intelligence I would of not fought with my friend over something I know was not mine.
ReplyDeleteI knew this girl who cut her wrist like 7 times because of depression.
ReplyDeleteI would've just said stop.
I have learned that cutting your slef doesn't solve your problems
there was a kid a summer camp that was picked on. I though that i was worng and that is should stop it. that I stop builling.
ReplyDeleteA friend did something that they regretted because they didn't know how to deal with their emotions. They didn't think before they made their mistake. There friend told them to stop and i did too. We encouraged her to stop. I learned to deal with my emotions differently than they did.
ReplyDeleteA friend sent a mean text. she regretted sending it. it was super mean and disrespectful. i learned that there are some things you can never say even through a text.
